InfoGov's Proteus Enterprise to be Demonstrated at ENISA Knowledge Seminar
Posted: 11th February 2008
Web-based GRC software will subsequently be available for trial in ENISA’s Technological Cabinet in Heraklion -
Information Governance (InfoGov) Ltd. has been invited to demonstrate Proteus Enterprise® its integrated web-based governance, risk and compliance software at an ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency) Knowledge Seminar in advance of EC2ND (European Conference on Network Defence) taking place on 4th & 5th October in Heraklion, Greece.
The practical application of Proteus Enterprise® will form the basis of one of three ENISA Knowledge Seminars on policy management, targeted at internal ENISA security experts as well as interested industry actors and members of the academic world.
Pascal Manzano from ENISA stated: “At ENISA we strive to present the attendees of our Knowledge Seminars with an entirely independent and impartial overview of the most technically proficient, advanced and innovative products on the market.”
Proteus Enterprise® enables companies to perform online compliance audits against any legislative or industry standard. It then identifies risks and formulates a work plan to mitigate problems producing concurrent and demonstrable compliance status reports to regulators and managers.
Furthermore, straight after the event ends on 5th October, Proteus Enterprise® will be available for interested parties to trial at ENISA’s Test Laboratory in Heraklion for a period of thirty days.
Stephen Hall, Managing Director of InfoGov adds, “It is a great privilege to be invited by ENISA to host one of its Knowledge Seminars. Additionally, it is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the capabilities of Proteus Enterprise® to a select group of business leaders and academics.
Hall concludes, “The reality is that, throughout Europe, most companies have barely scratched the surface when it comes to addressing information security and risk management. In fact, any organisation that can today address even the 25 most critical business processes and associated assets, and identify the financial, operational and legislative implications associated with compliance in one of these areas, will be in a better position than 95% of businesses. I am sure that ENISA’s commitment to run these Knowledge Seminars will help to promote a greater understanding of the issues surrounding information security amongst the European business community.”
